Deeply inspired by Amitabh Bachchan — He got injured at work while he was suspended on a rope and harness. Its mind blowing that at his age of 80 plus, he has such a huge appetite for risk, and passion for his work. Or is it the other way round — his passion for work keeps him going? I think its both.

I also think he has learned a very deep secret of life, which is revealed to a blessed few, that too only after years and years of living. He has learned that work / meaning is a very “stable” source of happiness compared to relationships, money etc.

I hope that I will be as alive and passionate as him when I reach that age. What an achievement it would be to plunge excitedly into your work at 80, instead of crying about the pain in your knees.

And waking up in the morning with a spring in your step, looking forward to the day, just as you did when you were 8 years old.
